(123) Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery

Ever since the Bennigan’s closed down at 1604 & Gold Canyon we have been hoping this location would be used for something else cool & fun!

Once we found out a few months ago that they would be transforming it into a Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, we got excited!  We didn’t know much about this franchise, so we had to do a little digging online…

What did we find?

The Tilted Kilt describes itself as “a modern American, Irish, Scottish, and English sports pub”.  The menu is a mix of traditional and contemporary pub food.  The servers (all female) are scantily-clad in their mini-kilts, plaid push-up bras & midriff baring white tops.  And…their tagline is “A cold beer never looked so good.”

Well…that was enough for us…we were gonna have to try this place out!  So, that’s what we did!  They have only been open for a little over a week, but already the crowds are flocking in!

We made it out on a balmy Tuesday afternoon for a late lunch, grabbed a table outside on the patio & quickly found out we were just in time for Happy Hour!  And, they have 36 Beers on Tap!  I have to admit, when they brought out that first cold beer, it did look pretty darn good!

We relaxed & took our time to explore their menu.  Everything looked tasty.  We decided on an order of the Drunken Clams, some TK’s Irish Nachos & a Classic “BIG Arse” Hamburger.

Our server was cute & friendly and made sure we were taken care of the whole time.  In fact, the servers all did a really good job of helping each other out to make sure we were never without what we needed.  It was kind of a group effort!

So…the overall experience was great!  Good Food, Great Atmosphere & Excellent Service.  I can definitley see why some people refer to this place as “Hooters with a Scottish twist.”

We will be back!
